We are really having fun with our puppy Lucy. She is playing more with Radar and Ziggy and Paco keeps playing policeman whenever they start having too much fun. I'm taking her for long walks everyday and we do a little sit, come, stay, but mostly just walking around VA-Highland, the Atlanta Beltline and Piedmont park.
She had a play date Wednesday with Sidney a female corgi and they played nicely. Yesterday she met a 10 week old Old English Sheepdog.
We are back at the cabin in Ellijay after spending July 4 here with Joy's family including Sue's little Marti. Marti was more of a policeman than Paco, but all-in-all everyone got along great. She did get in the creek so I'm now a little concerned that she will go in or across. She is not trained and no reason to think she will come if it doesn't suit her.
She is still getting carsick. I gave her Dramamine before we left and she was OK at my last stop at R&A, but when I got her she had lost her cookies. I know she will outgrow it. Until then I'll wash her bed more.
The potty training is going great but she has had two pee accidents in the last week. Both times she was wound up and playing hard and before we knew it, squat & pee. It was embarrassing that she went during her play date with Sidney. Fortunatly Sidney's parents, Tricia and Chris have a Spotbot. A great tool for cleaning up after a puppy.
